We are a mature couple and a friend travelling together. We cannot say enough good things about the experience of renting this beautiful apartment through BookingParos. The apartment itself is beautifully designed and appointed with all you will need. The airy bright and stylish lounge looks down on the marina, there is a modern and well designed kitchen, three bedrooms (two with ensuite bathrooms) and a further “half bathroom” off the hall. There is also the convenience of a front-loading washing machine for guests’ use. Everything is top quality and very tasteful in whites, aquas and greys. A big plus is that all the windows have retractable insect screens. There is a safe box in one of the wardrobes. The apartment is completely private, peaceful and tranquil at all times with comfortable beds and quality bedding providing good sleep. From the moment we contacted Nikos at BookingParos several months ago from Sydney he has been completely accessible, responsive and helpful. He proposed Avra 2 to us, which was a new listing at the time. He sent us photos which had not yet been uploaded to their website and a comprehensive description of the apartment’s amenities and location. Additionally, once we had confirmed our booking Nikos sent us lots of information about the island of Paros and offered himself as our concierge for our stay. No question or request was too much trouble- either before or after our arrival! Now to all the good news about the apartment owner, Stavros. Once we contacted him with our arrival details he offered to meet us at the port even though we arrived late at night. He drove us to Naoussa, carried our luggage, gave us a quick run-down of the apartment and the area, and advised that his mother and mother-in-law lived below and would look after us in every respect throughout our stay. He even offered to drive us to the port on the day of our departure, but it suited us better to get there a little closer to ferry time, so a nephew drove us there in his cab! We used the local buses and the public ferry to visit Antiparos on one day. There was no requirement to have a car, but there are numerous places renting cars, quad bikes and motor bikes if you want – you only have to ask Nikos and he'll organise it for you. The harbour, old fort, numerous bars and restaurants, and lots of lovely shops are a very easy stroll down some steps – as is a very pleasant swimming beach. Our friend is a fluent Greek-speaker so our interactions with the two lovely Mums was very simple and cordial. We were constantly spoiled with special Greek delicacies, and were even offered a home-cooked meal if we wanted! We enjoyed a daily service of the apartment, as well as having our laundry hung out while we went sight-seeing the first morning. There is an excellent and very well stocked mini market just across the street selling everything we needed during our stay as well as a good selection of wines and beers. Additionally there are plenty of food shops in and around the harbour and square – should you wish to self-cater. We enjoyed coffees, drinks and several meals in Naoussa during our stay but used the very cool and shady terrace for more drinks and light meals as well. Our standout dinner during our stay was at Mitsos which is a tiny authentic taverna on the beach – you will enjoy seafood straight out of the sea which practically laps at your feet while you dine. Book this apartment – you won't be disappointed. Thank you Nikos, Stavros and the Mums!

Nikos at BookingParos was a joy to deal with- efficient, helpful and even picked us up on arrival from the port. Avra 2 was a super clean, modern, extremely tastefully appointed 3-bedroom apartment with sea views in an outstanding location only a few minutes walk from a lovely small clean sand beach and a stroll into the delightfully charming Naoussa harbour. Being only recently completed the apartment still needs a few accoutrements such as a kettle, toaster etc and I am sure this will be put in place. The owner Stavros went way beyond the call of duty in kindness and generosity. He set us up with so many of his contacts, sailors with cruising boats, a reliable taxi driver, some great restaurant recommendations, even drove us to the Byzantine historic village of Lefkes and to a seaside restaurant out of town Siparos which was very good. The most unexpected surprise were the wonderful little home cooked treats gifted to us by Stavros' gorgeous mother who lives downstairs. It was a most fabulous stay and highly recommended
